Mr and Mrs Meadows

My little sister got married last month. We are so happy for Jeana and Trevor and think they are a perfect match! We were all concerned about the weather with it being a January wedding, but they couldn't have picked a nicer day. You would think it was Spring or early Summer by looking at their pictures.

I love this picture of Jeana and Trevor.  They are always laughing when they are together so it is the perfect picture of them!

Please excuse all of the pictures of Blake.  I thought he was so cute that night all dressed up in his suit and he was loving the camera, which is really strange for him, so we have a lot of pictures coming at ya!

Speaking of trouble...Sailor and Blake are a naughty duo!

The Ken Foster Trio.  They played at our wedding too and I loved them then and loved hearing them again at Jeana's wedding.

These two stole the show.  They danced the night away and were so cute!

Girls Night Out

We had a long over-due girls night out last weekend. Gardner Village was having their Queen of Hearts Event which made for the perfect girls night. We started at The Gathering Place where they had "A Chocolate Affair." It was basically an all you can eat chocolate heaven:) They had a chocolate fountain with yummy treats to dip in chocolate, a hot chocolate bar with lots of toppings and a dessert table with all kinds of chocolate treats.

Whitney, Heather, me, Lindsey, Lindsay
After we indulged in all the chocolate we could handle, (and believe me, we ate all the chocolate we could handle!) we headed over to The Cottage Retreat for some relaxation.
Linds and Linds got manicures
Heather and I got pedicures
And Whitney got a massage (sorry, I didn't get a picture of that)
We were even lucky enough to be serenaded by this lovely group of gentlemen.  They had great voices and quite entertaining facial expressions;)
Such a fun way to spend a Saturday night.  Most of us have known each other since Junior High and some of us have known each other longer so you can imagine the stories that came out as we reminisced about the past.
Love these girls and can't wait for another night out!
(PS: We missed those of you who couldn't make it!)

Vegas

We went to Vegas last month and, as always, had a great time with memories that can only be made in Vegas:)

 Flower displays at Bellagio
John really wanted to go to a magic show...lucky him.  The street magician picked him out of the crowd to help him with a little magic trick.  John had to take a bill out of his wallet, sign it and give it to the magician.  He then stuck it in a lemon somehow and pulled John's signed $5 bill out of the lemon.

Last night of the Miss America Pageant at Planet Hollywood
Visit to Freemont Street.  Loved the lighted high heel:)

These two nerds running down the hall with a luggage cart at about 3am.  Good thing it was the last night or we might not have had a place to stay the rest of the trip.

New Year's

Yep, It's almost Valentine's and I'm just posting New Years pictures.  I just realized I haven't posted Christmas yet, but we'll start with this...
For the long New Year's weekend, we went to John's family's cabin. The kids had a blast sledding down the giant hills and were so grateful that uncle Mike would pick them up at the bottom and load them in the Excursion and take them back to the top of the hill to do it again!

We luckily only had one incident: Drey ended up in the river:(  He didn't sit out long though and was ready to go again!

Here's Blake all bundled up and ready to ride the "high heeler"  aka: 4 wheeler.  We couldn't keep him off of it and he will still go to his closet and put his boots and and grab his hat and say "I ride high heeler"
My New Year's resolution was clearly not to blog more often, but I will try to get caught up before our new little guy joins us.  We're still looking for boy names if anyone has suggestions.  I'm starting to get desperate and think the people that let facebook name their child weren't all that crazy;)
