Girls Night Out!

On Saturday morning, we had a shower for John's niece Annesha who is having a baby boy in November. That baby is already spoiled rotten! After the shower, all of the girls on the Brown side headed up to the cabin to watch Women's Conference and have a little girls night out. We had a great time talking, laughing and hanging out. We also made a really cute craft, thanks to Sheri! We didn't get much sleep, but we did have a lot of fun!

Circus!

On Friday, we went to the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The elephants definitely were my favorite part, as if you can't tell from the pictures below. I think they are so cute! It has been a long time since I have been to the circus and it was really fun to take the kids and watch them get so excited over EVERYTHING!

What cute witches!

We took the kids to Gardner Village to see all of the witches. Nikki bought the girls wax teeth and they thought it was pretty funny to pose with their fake smiles!

Yearbook Yourself!

My friend Tiffiny sent me this website: www.yearbookyourself.com and she sent me pictures of her and her husband "yearbooked". I laughed so hard at their pictures. Then, I decided to see what our family would look like and I laughed even harder. So here is our family from many different eras! Thanks for the entertainment Tiffiny!

Bowling, Birthday and Baptism!

Since the kids were out of school and Monday ended up being a rainy day, we decided to go bowling. Pretty sad that I only beat Kaitlyn by a couple of points...I need some practice (or bumpers!)

Even Bentley got to bowl!

Kaitlyn turned 8 last week! We woke up early to make her breakfast in bed, but Kaitlyn was so excited that it was her birthday, that she woke up early and then woke Kensie up and they were both waiting in the kitchen for breakfast!

Birthday breakfast: Bacon and Eggs and yes, Ketchup!

Cute cousins: Destri, Kaitlyn and Kensie

Yee Haw Birthday Dinner at Texas Roadhouse!

Opening Presents: Her favorite present was her new scriptures from Grandpa Bert

Blowing out candles on Kaitlyn's yummy Oreo Cake

Kaitlyn was baptized on Saturday night. We are so proud of her and her decision to be baptized! She had lots of friends and family that came to support her.

Go Sister Sue!!!

Susan has had quite the week! John Rich from the country band "Big and Rich" wrote a song for the John McCain campaign. Susan has been playing in his band and is on his "Official Raisin' McCain" music video. Last week, she was able to fly on his private jet to meet John McCain and Sarah Palin and then she was able to fly on John McCain's private plane to a campaign stop. To top it all off, John Rich was on Larry King Live and there is some great footage of Susan! Go Sister Sue!!!
