Lagoon

Last week was the annual Best Family Fun Day at Lagoon. I can't believe how brave the girls were. They wanted to ride EVERYTHING and NOTHING scared them!

There were a few rides that Kensie wasn't tall enough to ride, so we took her over to the kids rides while everyone else was riding the "big rides." I don't know how she did it, but she somehow talked my dad into riding the rides with her. It was hilarious!

Kaitlyn's favorite ride: The Rocket. Good thing Aunt Jaclyn and Uncle Bart are as crazy as she is because she wanted to ride it over and over again and they were happy to ride it with her!

Usually the games at theme parks are a total rip off, but not this one! You pay $5 and you shoot the basketball until you make a basket and then you are guaranteed a prize...so worth it:)

Jaclyn and Bart went on the catapult. They sit in this cage and they are literally launched in the air. The girls were dying to do it and they were even tall enough to do it, but we thought we would give it another year or so before letting them jump into the catapult!

Bear Lake

We spent the 4th of July weekend up at Bear Lake. The girls absolutely love the water, so we would spend most of the day at the lake, and then when we would get back to our condo, the girls had to go swimming in the pool! I usually dread getting in Bear Lake because the water is so cold, but given my very pregnant state, the freezing cold water felt great!

Happy 4th of July!

Gone Fishing!

John has been wanting to take the girls fishing for a while now, so when the weather finally warmed up, he jumped at the opportunity and we took the girls on their first fishing adventure. We had a lot of fun, but the girls were disappointed when we left without catching a dang thing! Maybe next time!
