My baby (toddler) turned 18 months old last week. Bittersweet for mom. So happy to see him growing up and learning new things, but so sad that he's not a baby anymore! We went in for his well-baby check up and Blake now weighs 27 pounds (70th percentile) and is 33.7 inches tall (85th percentile). The doctor said he was good looking (100 percentile;) and healthy too! He said that kids this age should be saying at least 6-10 words. Blake is quite a talker and it made me wonder how many words he is saying. Here are a few: Mama, Dada, Grandma(uses it for Grandpa too), Sissy, Kensie (Sorry, Kaitlyn, hopefully soon), Nina (Jeana), Jack (Jaclyn), Rees, ball, basketball, up, get down, get out, all done, more, outside, please, NO (never yes, always no), socks, nose, eyes, B (blanket), hot, cheese, apple, juice, bath, MINE (hate it!), kitty.
The other day he said "Mama more please." His first sentence!
Blake loves balls, animals (especially kitties), being outside and teasing his sisters.
His favorite foods are fruit of any kind, cheese and spaghetti.
I love this little guy so much! Happy 18 months!
