Sleepy Head

There is nothing better than a sleeping baby. Sometimes at night, I go in and sneak a picture of Blake sleeping if he's in a funny position. Some nights, if I feel really brave, I'll pick him up and hold him while he sleeps. I just love holding a sleeping baby! I was uploading some pictures onto my computer and I kept finding pictures of Blake sleeping. I must sneak a few more pictures than I thought:)

St. Patty's Party

We had a little St. Patricks Day party, complete with green food, a treasure hunt and a game of Don't Eat Pete...

The kids went on a Treasure Hunt. They weren't able to capture the Leprechaun, but they were able to find the treasure he left for them!

Hope you all had a happy St. Patrick's Day!

18 Months

My baby (toddler) turned 18 months old last week. Bittersweet for mom. So happy to see him growing up and learning new things, but so sad that he's not a baby anymore! We went in for his well-baby check up and Blake now weighs 27 pounds (70th percentile) and is 33.7 inches tall (85th percentile). The doctor said he was good looking (100 percentile;) and healthy too! He said that kids this age should be saying at least 6-10 words. Blake is quite a talker and it made me wonder how many words he is saying. Here are a few: Mama, Dada, Grandma(uses it for Grandpa too), Sissy, Kensie (Sorry, Kaitlyn, hopefully soon), Nina (Jeana), Jack (Jaclyn), Rees, ball, basketball, up, get down, get out, all done, more, outside, please, NO (never yes, always no), socks, nose, eyes, B (blanket), hot, cheese, apple, juice, bath, MINE (hate it!), kitty.
The other day he said "Mama more please." His first sentence!
Blake loves balls, animals (especially kitties), being outside and teasing his sisters.
His favorite foods are fruit of any kind, cheese and spaghetti.
I love this little guy so much! Happy 18 months!

Snow Fun

We went tubing up at Soldier Hollow this weekend and had a blast. We thought we were going for the kids, but I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or the adults!
All bundled up ready to go!

Kensie, Kaitlyn and Destri

Jason and Nikki (and Bentley)

Jeana and Trevor

Jeans and Bentley

Blake wasn't old enought to go to Soldier Hollow, but he got his very own sledding day and loved it!
We had Blake's sled in our house for a while after we got it and he loved being pulled around the house in it. He would get in it first thing in the morning and want to play all day long! We knew he would love sledding outside!

"More, more" Thats what Blake would say after every run!

I'm so ready for Spring, but in the meantime, we're trying to make the most of the winter weather!
