Our little guy isn't even here yet, but he is spoiled already! We have had lots of showers and we have very generous family and friends who have spoiled us rotten!
The first shower was the Best Family shower. Nikki and I got to share this shower since our babies are due about a month apart. My sisters went all out on the decorations, food, activities and presents.

My friends gave us another great shower. We had yummy crapes and played some very funny games.
John's favorite part was that everyone that brought a pack of diapers was entered into a raffle drawing for a prize. We received a pretty good stash of diapers (I'm sure we'll go through them quicker than I think:)

Lindsay, Me, Josie, Anya and Linds. I have known these girls since junior high and some of them even longer. I feel so lucky to have such great friends who I have been able to share so much of my life with. Thanks for another fabulous shower!

One of the games we played involed chewing bubble gum and then making a baby out of the gum. Here are a couple of my favorites!

The Peanut!

The Loot

John's niece McKenna and I have joked around about having babies together since we got married. We were thrilled to find out that they were having a baby just 2 weeks after us! We had a combined baby shower and it was so fun to share that day with McKenna! We were so excited to give each other our presents and when we opened each others, we had both given the other person a Boppy nursing pillow and an outfit...great minds think alike!!!

I have the best co-wokers! It is so fun to go to work and get to hang out with your friends. Linda hosted our work baby shower up at her cabin at Brighton. We ate yummy homemade pizza, played some hilarious games (thanks to Jeremy and Kelly) and had a great time hanging out at the cabin.

Jeremy and Kelly just had a baby and they thought they would give us all some experience in changing a baby in the dark. We had to wear pillow cases over our heads and undress, change a diaper and re-dress the stuffed animals. It was so funny!

Here is a sneak peak at the nursery. It's still a work in progress, so I'll post more pictures soon!

The parts

John did a great job putting the crib together...getting out from the middle of it is another story:)

We are so lucky to have such supportive family and friends. This baby is definitely loved and we can't wait for him to meet all of you! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who planned, hosted and attended our showers. We love you!
